Occasionally I come across businesses that don't have a website and seem to be managing quite well without one, usually because they are so good at what they do and they get all their business by word of mouth or through social media, that they may be thinking that a website is far too expensive an outlay for them and they cannot justify the expenditure.

For example the decorator who painted our hallway who is obviously an expert in what he does. He does what he says he is going to do, when he says he will do it with the minimum of fuss and leaves no mess. His wife helps by coming in towards the end of the week to hoover the carpets before he leaves and he gives all his customers half a dozen duck eggs when he goes. A sheer delight of a tradesman and you almost wished he could stay longer. He obviously has more work than he can manage because he leaves behind him a trail of delighted customers who recommend him to their friends.
