As a wedding videographer looking after my own website for my videography business, I am very interested in ways to show videos online in the most effective way i.e. without impacting too heavily on SEO by making pages that load slowly because they contain videos. Videos are usually one of the largest file types that we encounter in web design work. Even at 360p the video here is 129MB.
The key feature of this video player (for me) is that it can play different versions of the same video at different resolutions dependant on screen size i.e. Large, Medium(tablets) and Small(phones). The video can be hosted locally on the same server as the website reducing external calls.
I have 3 versions of the same video here:
Videos can be stored in Resources within Rapidweaver or they could be separately uploaded to a folder on a server (which is probably preferable as in Resources they would get published by a 'publish all' action every time, extending the time to publish).
